Know your Food

Negative Calory Foods or foods that contain a negligible amount of calories :

Vegetables : Cucumber, asparagus, tomatoes, spinach, lettuce, kale, broccoli, mushrooms, bell peppers.

Fruits : Apples, grapefruits, papaya, berries, tangerine, lemons.


How do these foods benefit us ?   

Banana – strengthens immune system, improves skin

Warm milk at night soothes the body and gives sound sleep

Orange as a snack improves digestion and increases metabolism

Dark Chocolate– provides anti oxidants and reduces ageing and risk of heart disease

Apricots and figs- Boosts metabolism and warm up digestive system

Apple – Contains pectin which lowers blood sugar and cholesterol

Potato starch lowers cholestrol- Rich in minerals .

Tomato – increases metabolism and improves digestion.

Nuts- taken in the morning lower the risk of blood pressure .
